Toss your crushed ice, orange juice, pineapple juice, both rums, and grenadine into a blender. If you don't have crushed ice, you can pulse some ice cubes in the blender first to break them up before adding the other ingredients. The grenadine will sink to the bottom at first, but don't worry - it'll get mixed in during blending.

Blend everything for about 15-20 seconds until you get a slushy consistency - not too liquid, not too icy. You want it to be thick enough to enjoy with a straw but not so thick you need a spoon. If it's too thick, add a splash more juice. If it's too thin, throw in a bit more ice and pulse again.

Pour your tropical creation into a tall hurricane glass or any glass you have on hand. If you're feeling fancy, garnish with a pineapple wedge, orange slice, and maybe a cherry on top.
