Baked Cream Cheese Chicken (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless.
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil.
03 - 1 garlic clove, minced.
04 - 1/2 cup chicken broth.
05 - 8 ounces cream cheese, softened.
06 - 1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped.
07 - 1 teaspoon paprika.
08 - Salt and pepper to taste.
09 - 1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded (optional).
10 - Fresh parsley for garnish (optional).

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with oil spray or olive oil.
02 - Season chicken with salt, pepper and paprika. Heat oil in a pan and cook chicken until golden, about 3 minutes each side.
03 - Cook garlic in the same pan until fragrant. Add broth and let it reduce. Stir in cream cheese until smooth, then mix in chives, salt and pepper.
04 - Put chicken in baking dish, pour sauce over it. Add cheddar on top if using.
05 - Cook for 25-30 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F. Brown the cheese under the broiler for 2-3 minutes if desired.
06 - Top with fresh parsley and serve hot.

01 - Add a splash of lemon juice to the sauce for extra flavor.
