Spiced Griddle Rice Bowls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 pound ground lamb or chicken
02 - 4 cups cooked basmati or Jasmine rice

→ Vegetables & Herbs

03 - 1 onion diced
04 - 1/2 cup shredded carrots
05 - 1/2 cup chopped cilantro

→ Sauces & Seasonings

06 - 1/2 cup mango chutney
07 - 1/4 cup soy sauce
08 - 1 tablespoon garlic paste or minced garlic
09 - 1 tablespoon ginger paste or minced ginger
10 - 1 1/2 tablespoons garam masala
11 - 3/4 cup mayo
12 - Favorite hot sauce to taste
13 - 2-3 tablespoons vegetable oil or coconut oil

# Instructions:

01 - Gather ingredients on tray (except 1/2 tablespoon garam masala, mayo, hot sauce, and rice). Preheat griddle to medium
02 - Add oil, meat, onions, and carrots. Cook 4-5 minutes, breaking apart with spatulas
03 - Mix in cilantro, chutney, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and 1 tablespoon garam masala. Cook 4-5 minutes more
04 - Combine mayo, hot sauce, and remaining garam masala in a bowl
05 - Layer rice in bowls, top with meat mixture and drizzle with sauce

# Notes:

01 - Coconut oil can be used for more traditional Indian flavor
