# Ingredients:

01 - ¾ cup unsalted butter, melted (1½ sticks).
02 - ¾ cup light brown sugar, packed.
03 - 1 tablespoon vanilla extract.
04 - 1 cup all-purpose flour.
05 - 1 cup whole-rolled old fashioned oats.
06 - 1 teaspoon baking soda.
07 - ½ teaspoon salt.
08 - 35 caramel squares, unwrapped.
09 - ½ cup heavy cream.
10 - 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips or chunks.

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350F. Line 8x8 pan with foil and spray with cooking spray.
02 - Melt butter, mix with brown sugar and vanilla. Stir in flour, oats, baking soda, and salt.
03 - Press half of mixture into pan. Bake 10 minutes.
04 - Microwave caramels with cream in 60-second bursts until smooth, about 4-5 minutes.
05 - Sprinkle chocolate over base, pour caramel sauce over, top with remaining oat mixture.
06 - Bake 15-18 minutes until edges brown and center bubbles. Cool completely, 4 hours or overnight.

01 - Use soft caramels for best results.
02 - Must cool completely for clean cuts.
03 - Can speed cooling in refrigerator.
