Mini Cornbread Waffles (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Cornbread mix, 1 cup.
02 - Buttermilk, 1/2 cup.
03 - Large egg, 1.
04 - Shredded cheddar cheese, 1/4 cup (optional).
05 - Cooked bacon, crumbled, 1/4 cup (optional).
06 - Honey, 1/4 cup.
07 - Unsalted butter, 2 tablespoons.
08 - Maple syrup, 1 tablespoon (optional).
09 - Salt, pinch.

# Instructions:

01 - Combine cornbread mix, buttermilk and egg until smooth. Stir in optional cheese and bacon.
02 - Heat mini waffle maker, grease lightly. Cook 1 tablespoon batter per section for 3-4 minutes until golden.
03 - Heat honey, butter, optional maple syrup and salt in small pan until smooth.
04 - Arrange waffle bites on platter and drizzle with warm honey butter syrup.

# Notes:

01 - Can add jalapeƱos or cinnamon to batter.
02 - Works with gluten-free cornbread mix.
03 - Keeps in fridge up to 3 days.
