Cheesecake Cookies (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 8 oz cream cheese, softened.
02 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened.
03 - 1 cup granulated sugar.
04 - 1 large egg.
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
06 - 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour.
07 - 1/2 teaspoon baking powder.
08 - 1/4 teaspoon salt.
09 - 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Beat cream cheese, butter, and sugar until fluffy. Mix in egg and vanilla until smooth.
03 - Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add dry mix to wet ingredients. Fold in chocolate chips.
04 - Drop spoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart on baking sheet. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden but centers remain soft. Cool a few minutes on sheet, then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.

01 - Use room temperature cream cheese for smooth mixing.
02 - Chill dough 30 minutes for thicker cookies.
03 - Stores 5 days at room temperature.
04 - Can freeze up to 2 months.
05 - Don't overmix after adding flour.
