Potato Side Dish (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 32 ounces frozen hash browns, defrosted.
02 - 16 ounces French onion dip.
03 - 10.5 ounces condensed cream of chicken soup.
04 - 8 tablespoons butter, divided.
05 - 1 teaspoon salt.
06 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
07 - 2 teaspoons dried minced onion.
08 - 8 ounces shredded white cheddar cheese.
09 - 1/2 cup cooked crumbled bacon.
10 - 2 cups buttery round crackers, crushed.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 350°F. Butter a 13x9 inch baking dish.
02 - Whisk French onion dip, soup, 4 tablespoons melted butter, seasonings in a bowl.
03 - Stir in potatoes, cheese and bacon to the mixture.
04 - Pour potato mixture into prepared baking dish.
05 - Mix crushed crackers with remaining butter, sprinkle over casserole.
06 - Cook uncovered for 50-60 minutes until golden and bubbly.

# Notes:

01 - Can use different cream soups like mushroom or celery.
02 - Sour cream and onion soup mix can replace French onion dip.
03 - Try different cheese blends for variety.
04 - Can top with chips or breadcrumbs instead of crackers.
