French Onion Potato Bake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Base

01 - 4 large potatoes, peeled and chopped
02 - 2 large yellow onions, thinly sliced
03 - 4 cloves garlic, minced

→ Seasonings

04 - 1 packet French onion soup mix
05 - 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
06 - 1 tablespoon brown sugar
07 - 1/2 cup butter, melted
08 - 1 cup boiling water

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven. Peel and chop potatoes, slice onions thinly, and mince garlic.
02 - In a roasting pan, toss potatoes with melted butter, garlic, and French onion soup mix. Add boiling water and rosemary sprigs.
03 - Cover and bake potatoes until they start to soften, about 30 minutes.
04 - While potatoes bake, slowly cook sliced onions with brown sugar until golden and caramelized.
05 - Add caramelized onions around potatoes and bake uncovered until potatoes are tender and golden, about 20 minutes more.
