# Ingredients:

→ Muffin Base

01 - 4 cups day-old bread, cut into 1-inch cubes
02 - 4 large eggs
03 - 1 cup whole milk
04 - ½ cup heavy cream
05 - ¼ cup granulated sugar
06 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
07 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

→ Cinnamon Sugar Topping

08 - ¼ cup granulated sugar
09 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
10 - 2 tablespoons melted butter

# Instructions:

01 - Cut your day-old bread into 1-inch cubes and set aside.
02 - Whisk together eggs, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon in a large bowl until well combined.
03 - Add bread cubes to the custard mixture and gently stir to coat everything. Let it sit for at least 10 minutes to soak up all that goodness.
04 - Heat your oven to 350°F and grease a 12-cup muffin tin or line it with paper liners.
05 - Divide the soaked bread mixture between muffin cups, pressing down lightly. Mix cinnamon and sugar, drizzle butter over muffins, then sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
06 - Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and set. Let cool briefly in the pan, then move to a wire rack. Serve warm with maple syrup if you like!

# Notes:

01 - Prep the custard mixture the night before for quick morning assembly and baking.
02 - Try adding different spices like nutmeg or cardamom for variety.
