Creamy Garlic Pizza Dip (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Garlic Sauce Ingredients

01 - 1/4 cup (60 g) unsalted butter
02 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
03 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional, for extra flavor)
04 - 1/2 cup (120 ml) heavy cream
05 - 1/4 cup (25 g) grated Parmesan cheese
06 - 1/4 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
07 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
08 - 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

# Instructions:

01 - Grab a small saucepan and melt your butter over medium heat until it's completely liquid but not browning.
02 - Toss in your minced garlic and let it cook gently for a minute or two. You want it fragrant and softened but not brown - that's when garlic gets bitter.
03 - Pour in the heavy cream and sprinkle in the garlic powder if you're using it. Turn the heat down to low and let everything simmer together for 2-3 minutes, giving it an occasional stir.
04 - Slowly whisk in the Parmesan, adding it bit by bit so it melts evenly and doesn't clump. Keep stirring until you've got a smooth, velvety sauce.
05 - Add your salt and pepper, giving it a quick taste. Feel free to adjust the seasonings to get it just right for your palate.
06 - Take the pan off the heat and if you like, sprinkle some fresh parsley on top for color and a hint of freshness. Serve your sauce warm alongside pizza for dipping or drizzle it right over your slices.

# Notes:

01 - For a thicker sauce, simmer a bit longer until it reduces to your desired consistency.
02 - Substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
03 - Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a spicy twist.
04 - This sauce is best served fresh and warm, but can be gently reheated if needed.
