Rich German Chocolate Poke Cake (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Cake Base

01 - 1 box German chocolate cake mix (plus ingredients called for on box)

→ Filling & Toppings

02 - 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
03 - 1 cup caramel sauce
04 - 1/2 cup chocolate chips
05 - 1/2 cup shredded coconut
06 - 1/2 cup chopped pecans
07 - 1/2 cup chocolate frosting
08 - 1/2 cup caramel frosting

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease 9x13 inch baking dish. Make cake according to box directions.
02 - Let cake cool slightly. Use wooden spoon handle to poke holes all over cake surface.
03 - Pour sweetened condensed milk and caramel sauce over cake, letting them seep into holes.
04 - Sprinkle with chocolate chips, coconut, and pecans. Warm frostings until pourable and drizzle over cake.
05 - Let cake rest 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.

01 - Make holes deep but not to bottom of cake
02 - Can substitute coconut milk for dairy-free version
