Hawaiian Roll French Toast (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pack (12 count) King's Hawaiian Rolls.
02 - 3 large eggs.
03 - 3/4 cup half and half or whole milk.
04 - 1 tablespoon vanilla extract.
05 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
06 - 2 tablespoons brown sugar.
07 - Pinch of salt.
08 - 4 tablespoons butter for cooking.
09 - Powdered sugar for topping.
10 - Fresh fruit for serving.
11 - Maple syrup for serving.

# Instructions:

01 - Mix eggs and half and half in a bowl. Add vanilla, cinnamon, brown sugar, and salt.
02 - Poke holes in the bottom of each roll using a toothpick so they soak better.
03 - Dip each roll in custard mix for 30 seconds, turning to coat. Don't soak too long.
04 - Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a pan over medium-low heat.
05 - Cook rolls about a minute per side until golden brown, turning to crisp all sides.
06 - Top with powdered sugar, fresh berries and maple syrup while warm.

# Notes:

01 - Don't soak rolls too long or they'll get mushy.
02 - Keep heat at medium-low to prevent burning.
