01 - 3 cups russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
02 - 1 pound smoked kielbasa sausage, sliced into bite-size pieces

03 - ¼ cup unsalted butter
04 - ¼ cup all-purpose flour
05 - 2 teaspoons minced garlic
06 - 1½ cups 2% milk
07 - ½ cup heavy cream (33%)
08 - 1 can (284ml) cheddar cheese soup
09 - 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

→ Seasonings & Oils

10 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
11 - ½ teaspoon ground cumin
12 - ½ teaspoon garlic powder
13 - 1 teaspoon salt
14 - ½ teaspoon cracked black pepper

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and coat a 9x13 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
02 - Boil the cubed potatoes in water for about 7 minutes until tender but not mushy. Drain and transfer to your prepared baking dish.
03 - Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat and cook the kielbasa pieces until they develop a nice golden-brown color, about 5 minutes. Add them to the potatoes in the baking dish.
04 - In the same pan, create a roux with butter and flour. Add garlic, milk, cream, and seasonings. Stir in the cheddar soup and cook until thickened. Off heat, mix in the shredded cheese until melted.
05 - Pour the cheese sauce over the potatoes and kielbasa, ensuring everything is well-coated. Bake for 30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
