Quick Korean Ground Beef Bowl (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Beef

01 - 1 pound ground beef (80/20)
02 - Salt and pepper to taste

→ Sauce & Seasonings

03 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce
04 - 1 tablespoon sesame oil
05 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
06 - 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
07 - 2 green onions, chopped

→ Base & Toppings

08 - 2 cups cooked rice
09 - Sesame seeds for garnish
10 - Extra green onions for garnish
11 - Optional: kimchi, sliced cucumber, fried egg

# Instructions:

01 - Rinse rice and cook according to package directions. You'll need 2 cups cooked rice.
02 - Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat, breaking it up as it cooks, about 5-7 minutes.
03 - Drain extra fat if needed. Add minced garlic and ginger, cook 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
04 - Stir in soy sauce, sesame oil, and green onions. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer 2 minutes.
05 - Put rice in bowls, top with beef mixture. Garnish with sesame seeds, green onions, and any optional toppings.
