06 - 1 tsp lemon zest
07 - 1/2 tsp paprika
08 - 1/2 tsp dried thyme (or 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves)
09 - Salt and black pepper, to taste

10 - 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
11 - Lemon slices, for serving

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil or cooking spray.
02 - In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, olive oil, fresh lemon juice, minced garlic, lemon zest, paprika, thyme, salt, and black pepper.
03 - Place the cod fillets in the prepared baking dish in a single layer. Spoon the lemon butter sauce evenly over the fillets, making sure they are well-coated.
04 - Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cod is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the fillets.
05 - Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and lemon slices. Serve hot with rice, vegetables, or a fresh salad.
