Spread lemon pie filling evenly over the cake mix base.

Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, vanilla, and lemon zest until smooth. Spread over lemon filling.

Sprinkle remaining cake mixture on top. Bake 35-40 minutes until golden brown and set.
