Loaded Potato Soup (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 medium russet potatoes, peeled and diced.
02 - 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth.
03 - 1 cup heavy cream.
04 - 1/2 cup milk.
05 - 1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated.
06 - 6 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled.
07 - 1/2 cup green onions, sliced.
08 - 1/4 cup butter.
09 - 1/4 cup all-purpose flour.
10 - 2 cloves garlic, minced.
11 - Salt and pepper to taste.

# Instructions:

01 - Melt butter over medium heat. Cook garlic 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in flour and cook 2-3 minutes until light golden.
02 - Gradually whisk in broth to prevent lumps. Bring to gentle boil.
03 - Add diced potatoes. Simmer 15-20 minutes until tender.
04 - Stir in cream and milk. Heat through without boiling.
05 - Mix in bacon, green onions, and cheese until melted. Season with salt and pepper.

01 - Great with crusty bread or garlic bread.
02 - Can add steamed vegetables like broccoli.
03 - Top with sour cream for extra creaminess.
