Monte Cristo Sandwich (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - White bread, 4 slices.
02 - Ham slices, 4.
03 - Turkey slices, 4.
04 - Swiss cheese slices, 4.
05 - Large eggs, 2.
06 - Milk, 1/4 cup.
07 - Salt and pepper, to taste.
08 - Unsalted butter, 2 tablespoons.
09 - Powdered sugar for dusting.
10 - Raspberry jam for serving.

# Instructions:

01 - Layer each sandwich with 2 slices ham, 2 slices turkey, and 2 slices Swiss cheese between bread slices. Press down gently.
02 - Mix eggs, milk, salt and pepper in a shallow dish until well combined.
03 - Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat until hot but not smoking.
04 - Dip each sandwich in egg mix to coat both sides. Cook in butter 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
05 - Put cooked sandwiches on paper towels. Dust with powdered sugar, cut diagonally, serve hot with raspberry jam.

# Notes:

01 - Use thick bread slices to prevent sogginess.
02 - Can swap meats or use different jams.
03 - Add mayo or mustard if desired for extra flavor.
