01 -
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Take a 9×13-inch baking dish and lightly grease it with butter or a quick spray of non-stick cooking spray.
02 -
Spread the creamy peanut butter across the bottom of your prepared baking dish. Try to get it as even as possible, though it doesn't need to be perfect.
03 -
Sprinkle half of your chopped peanut butter cups (about 3/4 cup) evenly over the peanut butter layer.
04 -
Drizzle the can of sweetened condensed milk evenly over the chopped candy layer. The condensed milk will help create that gooey, rich texture as it bakes.
05 -
Sprinkle the dry chocolate cake mix evenly over everything. Don't mix it in - just create an even layer on top.
06 -
Drizzle the melted butter all over the dry cake mix, trying to cover as much of the mix as possible. Then sprinkle the milk chocolate chips and the remaining chopped peanut butter cups over the top.
07 -
Place your baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 35-40 minutes. You'll know it's done when the top is bubbly and slightly crisp, with the cake mix fully baked through.
08 -
Allow the dump cake to cool for 10-15 minutes after removing from the oven. This gives it time to set up a bit. Serve while still warm, topped with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream if desired.
