Strawberry Danish (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 cups strawberries, sliced.
02 - 1 tablespoon each cornstarch, sugar.
03 - 8 ounces cream cheese, room temp.
04 - 1/2 cup powdered sugar.
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla.
06 - 2 puff pastry sheets, thawed.
07 - 1 egg beaten with 1 teaspoon water.
08 - 1/4 cup strawberry jam.
09 - 1 cup powdered sugar for glaze.
10 - 2-3 tablespoons milk.

# Instructions:

01 - Mix strawberries with sugar and cornstarch. Mix cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until smooth.
02 - Cut each pastry sheet into 6 rectangles. Score borders. Fill with cream cheese and berries.
03 - Brush edges with egg wash. Chill 15 minutes.
04 - Bake at 400°F for 20-25 minutes until golden.
05 - Cool 5 minutes. Top with warm jam or vanilla glaze.

01 - Keeps 2-3 days refrigerated.
02 - Best served warm.
