No-Bake Layered Dessert (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Brownie Layer

01 - 1 box brownie mix
02 - 1 extra-large egg
03 - Additional ingredients as required by the brownie mix (typically oil and water)

→ Cream Cheese Layer

04 - 1 package cream cheese (8 oz.), softened
05 - 1 cup powdered sugar
06 - 1 container whipped topping (8 oz.)

→ Pudding Layer

07 - 1 package instant chocolate pudding (3 oz.)
08 - 1 package instant vanilla pudding (3 oz.)
09 - 3 1/2 cups milk

→ Topping

10 - 1 container whipped topping (8 oz.)
11 - 1 Hershey bar (grated) or chocolate syrup for topping

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to the temperature specified on the brownie mix box. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. Follow the instructions on the brownie mix box to prepare the brownie batter. Add the extra-large egg and mix well. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish and bake according to the package instructions. Let it cool completely.
02 - In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add the powdered sugar and continue to mix until well combined. Fold in one container of whipped topping until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Spread this cream cheese layer evenly over the cooled brownie base.
03 - In a separate bowl, whisk together the instant chocolate pudding mix, instant vanilla pudding mix, and milk until smooth and thickened. Pour the pudding mixture over the cream cheese layer, spreading it out evenly.
04 - Spread the remaining container of whipped topping over the pudding layer. Sprinkle the grated Hershey bar or drizzle chocolate syrup on top for extra sweetness.
05 - Cover the cake with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight, to allow the layers to set. Slice the Brownie Refrigerator Cake into squares and serve chilled.

# Notes:

01 - For best results, allow the brownies to cool completely before adding the cream cheese layer.
02 - This dessert needs to chill for at least 4 hours, but overnight is best for the layers to set properly.
03 - You can use light cream cheese and sugar-free pudding mixes for a lighter version.
04 - Store any leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
