# Ingredients:

→ Pork Chops

01 - 4 boneless pork chops, about 1/2-inch thick
02 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
03 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
04 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
05 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
06 - 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
07 - Salt and black pepper to taste
08 - 2 large eggs
09 - 1/2 cup milk
10 - 1/2 cup vegetable oil for frying

→ Bacon Gravy

11 - 4 slices bacon, chopped
12 - 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
13 - 2 cups whole milk
14 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
15 - Salt and black pepper to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne, salt and pepper in a shallow dish. In another dish, beat eggs with milk to make your egg wash.
02 - Coat each pork chop in the seasoned flour, dip in egg wash, then coat again in flour. Let them rest for 5-10 minutes to help the coating stick better.
03 - Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook pork chops for 4-5 minutes each side until golden brown and cooked through (145°F inside). Place on paper towels to drain.
04 - In the same pan, cook chopped bacon until crispy. Keep 2 tablespoons of bacon grease, remove bacon bits. Stir flour into the hot grease and cook for a minute.
05 - Slowly whisk in milk until smooth. Simmer 3-4 minutes until thick. Season with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Stir the crispy bacon back in.

# Notes:

01 - Let breaded pork chops rest before frying for extra crispiness
02 - Add chicken broth to thin the gravy if needed
03 - Great with mashed potatoes, green beans, or collard greens
