Creamy Bacon Pork Chops (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - Bacon strips, cut small (6).
02 - Pork chops (4).
03 - Salt and pepper to taste.
04 - Butter (1 tablespoon).
05 - Flour (1 tablespoon).
06 - Low-sodium chicken broth (1/2 cup).
07 - Lemon juice (1/2 teaspoon).
08 - Garlic powder (1/4 teaspoon).
09 - Heavy cream (3/4 cup).
10 - Fresh parsley for garnish.

# Instructions:

01 - Let pork rest at room temp 15-30 minutes. Cut bacon into pieces.
02 - Fry bacon until crispy, about 10 minutes. Remove bacon, leave 2 tablespoons fat.
03 - Season pork, sear 3-5 minutes per side until done. Remove from pan.
04 - Add butter if needed, then flour. Cook 30 seconds.
05 - Add broth, lemon, garlic powder. Reduce then add cream.
06 - Return bacon and pork to pan, cook 3-5 minutes until sauce thickens.

# Notes:

01 - Use pork chops 0.75-1 inch thick.
02 - Cook pork to 145°F minimum.
03 - Let meat rest before serving.
