Homemade McGriddle (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 6 eggs for filling.
02 - 1 cup milk for eggs.
03 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder.
04 - 4 tablespoons butter for eggs.
05 - 1 1/3 cups flour.
06 - 2/3 cup milk for pancakes.
07 - 3 tablespoons melted butter.
08 - 1 egg for pancakes.
09 - 1.5 teaspoons baking powder.
10 - 2.5 tablespoons maple syrup.
11 - 1 pound breakfast sausage.
12 - 8 slices bacon (optional).
13 - 4 slices cheese (American or cheddar).
14 - Salt and pepper to taste.

# Instructions:

01 - Form and cook 4 sausage patties, about 3 minutes per side. Cook bacon if using.
02 - Whisk eggs with milk and seasonings. Cook in portions, folding into squares. Use fresh butter for each batch.
03 - Mix pancake ingredients until smooth. Cook in batches using 3 tablespoons batter each. Make 8 total for buns.
04 - Layer: pancake, cheese, sausage, egg, bacon (if using), top pancake. Repeat for all sandwiches.
